In an effort to keep my wondering peafowl safe I had this sign made and posted it on the road I live on. (I think it turned out great!)Unfortunately I'm at the bottom of a curved hill and the people fly down it! I don't know if they will slow down but it was worth the effort to try to keep my peas alive or at least give them a fighting chance.(Already tried fencing...no help) It is in my right of way as far as the county road commission is concerned. At least the drivers are forwarned just wish the peas were too.

I think some people will slow down so maybe they can get a glimpse of the birds. I know our alpacas sure stop a lot of traffic!

Children and Animals

DD asked me the other day which of our animals other than the horse can run faster than 5mph.

She thought the sign was meant for her and her pets not to go faster than 5 mph...

That is a great idea! Your sign turned out really cool. People should definitely do a double take when they see it. I'll bet it'll get their attention.

Thanks all. I tried to find a sign online but they were only 12x12 inch.($20) This one is 2ftx2ft and it only cost me $20 I'm very pleased with it.
