So... What's it gonna take to breed "Big Bird"?

I told hubby today, that I wanted an incubator for Mothers Day.

He told me, that in order for me to get an incubator, I need a plan to breed Big Bird. But not the Sesame Street Version,,...He wants a Urban Jungle bird, 6'+ tall, with the looks of a Velociraptor, the disposition of mad waterfowl, that eats pit bulls for breakfast, yet still covered by our insurance policy as livestock. LOL .

I'm thinking Shamo, to African Goose to Ostrich???

What are your thoughts?

Anybody got some good breeders?

Oh, and now he's adding "Lays good normal sized eggs."

I might have to throw a Barred Rock in there somewhere I guess.

You should say "Okay hunny, I got your pit bull eating poultry!", and give him some Emu's!!! (Ostrich would work just as well!)

ETA: Emu eggs are gigantic!!!

If you want a bird that looks like a velociraptor and eats Pit bulls... use a Cassowary in the mix, not an Ostrich.

Okay, I googled that... and DH says the disembowelment might not be a good thing, maybe just a one peck decapitator will work.

Emu (for size), Pekin(for the water fowl part?),And silky(for the less feathers) and keep perfecting untill you get dog eating, leagle, voliciraptor!

I like where you are going with the Silkies....less feathers....more fur...but not mammalian!! Still qualifies as "poultry". Good thinkin!
