My blue orpington hen lola and my blue giant cochin hen Doddle both go broody all the time I have to trick them out of it. Loa is on a nest now that I am ready to take away She has been broody for 1 1/2 months now no luck hatching poor baby.

Seems to me the solution to my problem of being totally and permanently broody-less is for Tuff to express ship me her one and only broody brahma.
Honestly! Without a broody soon I may need psychological help! I've been rejected by the broody gods!

My Blue Cochin literally went broody right after she started laying, she hatched out 2 beautiful silkies for me, raised them for 2 months, laid eggs for about 2 weeks, sat again for 21 days and now I have 4 baby blue cochins with rosecombs. LOL...She I think will be forever broody..LOL

One of my BO is a mad, crazy broody thing that out broodies my silkie big time. She has hatched out eggs this year and has gone broody at least twice since, and has been broody two or three times before she hatched her eggs.

Lay five eggs, go broody for two months, sulk around for three weeks, lay a few more eggs, go broody, get thrown in broody jail on a daily basis, sit on air in broody jail, sulk, lay a few eggs, go broody......
