So who doesnt wear makeup?

I don't wear makeup. I don't even own any. I never wore makeup in high school or college or when I worked unless it was for a special occasion. I did wear some at my wedding, but that's the kind of event it takes to get makeup on my face.

*If makeup could fix a crooked nose, it might be worth trying. Until then, I won't bother spending the time or money on it.

Steffanie!!! I was just about to comment that everyone showing their pic is YOUNG! Thank GOD for you!

Debi, when you posted, it gave me courage. I was thinking the same thing about most of the pics, so many young people. There were a few brave and beautiful women our age, but mostly young ones. I couldn't help but thinking about the the line from the Baz Luhrmann video called, "Wear Sunscreen," ...."Do not read beauty magazines. They will only make you feel ugly!"

Now y'all wait a minute. I'm in my 40's and I posted my picture way back! Don't lump me in with all these young girls. I think everyone who posted their picture has shown that makeup is a choice and not a necessity. We all look gorgeous.

I think this is the last time I wore make-up. This was a few years ago, and I was just as bad looking with it as I am without it, so there really is no point.

I didn't leave you out! See, right there! "a few brave and beautiful women our age." The bravery comes from ignoring what the media tells us. The beauty is partly right there on the surface, but much of it due to our self-worth.

Ok, I must have missed that line. I was in chocolate withdrawal you see. And I'm worried about my Chickens and goats. I just went out to check on them, and EVERYONE.....except one poor goat and 4 chickens were in the chicken coop. That's right, 10 goats, and 6 chickens IN the chicken coop together.

So I went and got some straw and put it in the goat quonset hut that has become the chickens Spa area so that we could thin out the occupation of the coop. The goats have a new pole barn that's not holding up in this weather. (No walls = very wet straw). But once the fence is done on the NW pasture, they get walls. I put the rooster into the coop once the goats made a beeline for the fresh straw. The three hens were cuddled in the well protected outdoor nest box.

Sorry get my feathers in a ruffle
