So Who Has Started Their Spring Cleaning??

I started on my closet!

Loaded up 4 big black trash sacks full of clothes, shoes and old purses. And I'm still not done!

I will continue tomorrow.

Working on our bedroom right now. Just have the closet and the top of the cedar chest left. The closet is mostly my husband's stuff though, so he gets to do that. Just got everything put into our new to us dresser this weekend, so that's been really nice. We've been living out of laundry baskets for a long time. Next weekend, if I can get a chance, it's my daughter's closet to make room for the baby stuff. We'll see how well that goes.

I have been spring cleaning all winter. Closets and drawers have been cleaned out and straightened. Gotten rid of excess junk lying around. Beautiful weather today and 2 of 4 dogs got shaved and bathed. Getting there......

I started a few days ago. I took down all the curtains and washed them, line dried them, ironed them, fixed the hems, and hung them back up. Our living rooms walls are knotty pine and I clean them with orange oil once a year, I'll probably do that tomorrow or Monday. Then I have to do the yearly spring cleaning for the vehicles. At least I cleaned the coop a few weeks ago, that's all done!

WHAT???!!!??? You mean to tell me that we only need to clean in the Spring?!! Well that's a fine howdy-do - I've been cleaning all year round! LOL - ya know, for a person who is so put off by dis-organization I'm pretty unorganized. But yeah, who can resist when the weather is SOO incredibly nice out? I was actually doing plenty of cleaning and organizing. I Love scrubbing and seeing stuff shine and smell fresh.

Almost finished. I always do spring cleaning before the spring weather gets here so I can spend it outside. Painted two bedrooms and cleaned all the carpets up and down plus regular spring cleaning this year. Now I've been cleaning out the flower beds and herb garden with the help of Lulu, the lame runt. She can't scratch very easily so waits for us to move the leaves, etc and she gets dibs on the worms and bugs.
