well i used to play Gpotato

(darn those times i will shun them for all i live for)

there's a board game for one of their games i dont remember and i refuse to go to their site.

My 13 son has been playing for a couple of years. He even went to the Convention in PA I think 2 or 3 years ago. He plays online and also at a Warhammer store here in Richmond. He plays Tyranids.

When he isn't doing that he plays Wow and now Spore.

Don't worry, he does leave the house and his computer LOL LOL

What is Warhammer?? I would assume it's similar to WoW? I don't play either but son does. He also plays FFF. I play Tibia, about the only game I can understand cuz it's so easy, lol.

I describe tabletop Warhammer as toy soldiers with a lot of rules. "OK, now I take my little man and move him... *lowering eye to table level* um... eleven inches..." then you move your man, see where 11 inches actually lands, then roll your dice to see how successful your attempted attack is.

I tried to play once. It is truly the most boring game I have ever attempted to play but my husband loves it. Then again, I never played with regular toy soldiers, either.

Warhammer is also a new online game. I don't know anything about it. I really would like to know more about it. What is different about it from other online games?

For the less obsessed:

MMO stands for Massively Multiplayer Online game.

MMORPG stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. The concept for these originally came from the tabletop board games.

WoW stands for World of Warcraft. It's a game you play online, connected to the internet. People log in and play in a very large virtual world, with other people that you can talk to and do things with. Or you can just do your own thing, solo. The last I heard, it had over 11 million people playing it. They don't all play on the same server!

You start out as a level 1 character and do quests. As you earn experience, you gain levels. These make your character stronger and allow him/her to also train new skills. As you progress in the game, you can move to new geographic areas.

This is pretty common for online games. It also has an in-game economy and lots of other things to do, like crafting items, cooking and fishing. I really like all the other stuff!

So, how is the crafting in Warhammer and does it have fishing???
