soak AFTER removing bumble?

i just did surgical removal of bumble from both my chickens (between the toes) after soaking for several days didn’t fix it.

2 questions:
1. do you continue to soak the feet after bumble removal?
2. does she need systemic antibiotics?

i would think no to both but these are actually recurrences (had 1st time in nov 2019) so really do not want this to repeat AGAIN.

Do you have photos?

Generally you do not need antibiotics if you have removed the bumble and the foot is healing/the chicken is doing well.

You can soak in epsom salts to help soothe and heal the foot if you wish. If you are going to do that, then I would do it when wrappings are changed. Make sure the foot is dried well before re-wrapping.
