Soap Makers Help!

I scented them with orange EO. Everyone here says it smells yummy. I kinda wish I had made it earlier so I could use it for the swap. But hopefully you all like it. I don't think my MIL likes them so much but once she actually sees one I think she might change her mind. Even though I have sent her pics of the soaps that I have been making I still don't think she likes the bars as much. But she hasn't actually seen any of the new ones in person yet so I'll keep my fingers crossed. And if she doesn't like them then oh well right? And I forgot that I have to go to scouts tonight so I might be to tired when I get back to make more. I hope I'm not though. I think I got my soaping bug back

Mmmm, I bet those do smell good. I'm a sucker for citrus scents. I wouldn't worry too much about your MIL, my SIL thinks that because it was homemade it can't be as good as what you get in the store. Whatever, more soap for me.

I use carrot juice for any soap that I need an orange color. I have a juicer...but lately I've been lazy and I've been buying the canned carrot juice.

I use it in place of distilled water....and sometimes 1/2 and 1/2 juice and water. I've got some peach soap that I made and swirled....and used carrot juice to color it. I cut it and hand rolled the soap and they looked like REAL peaches with the red brick oxide swirled in them and the carrot juice coloring came out a peachy/orange color. It is lovely soap...I'll post photos...tomorrow.

Here is what I just made a little while ago. I have picks just after pouring it into the mold without dividers and then some after the dividers. I used eucalyptus to scent it.

Those are BEAUTIFUL!!

I use tomato juice...I use 1/2 and 1/2 distilled water and tomato juice...it is like the orange juice and you will have to leave it in the mold for a week or so before slicing. It takes longer to set up...
The color does stay a 'natural' red/orange color. You can also use tomato paste at trace...that works well also.

Those soapon there are so beautiful. I could only dream of making swirls like those

Maybe in like ten years I could do that lol. I was a little unsure last night how it was going to turn out but it is better then I thought it would be and definitly better then the last one. I can't wait to unmold it

Thanks MLF for the help with that.
Cheeptrick I'll have to write that down so I don't forget about it. I really want to try that.
