Soap Makers Help!

I put in 3 Tbl for 3# of oil. I hate the smell

It was real strong. I gave a bunch of bars to a friend of mine and her kids use it for cat fish bait and they catch a lot of fish lol. I don't know how many oz that was. I need to start weighing it. I bought a different FO and it is Earth scented. Smells like a farmers turned field. I wasn't sure if it would really smell like that but it sure does. It is supposed to be real good for hunters. It makes more sense that it would. If you smell like earth the deer won't notice you lol. I'll give the Anise a try again but it won't be as much of it.

LOL, ok thanks. I know to go light on the anise. Do the kids use the actual soap for bate? Or they wash with it? Sorry, it's one of those mornings were things are just not connecting.

Wow, and it works? so weird, lol. I guess if it works huh.

I just put three batches of rosemary mint to bed. I'll try to get three more batches out tonight, though I haven't decided what yet. Maybe the Yuzu grapefriut. I need to do some cucumber melon too, I just haven't felt like pureeing the cukes.

Wow! I finally got around to reading this whole post. This link is such a wealth of information and wonderful for beginners like me to see. You all should be proud of the soap making you do and one day hopefully to be 1/2 as good. I've only done cp soaping twice by myself, many times with a old neighbor who does it all the time. I did melt and pour a few times, and while it was fun I like the idea of having a little bit more of creative know how into my soaps.

Wow, how long did that take! There is a ton of info in this thread, it's just so long it's hard to get to. Good for you for making it all the way through.

It took me about two weeks in my spare time. It was like a good book that you knew you had to read to find out the ending. It's a well worth read. I've been home this week, dh is recovering from gb surgery and found the time to finish it.
