I was in a hurry this morning, grabbing things to put into the dishwasher or to hand wash - reached over and before I knew it, ran my digital scale under the water. It was only for a second but now it's not working and Target doesn't carry the same brand except for online. All they had in the store was a brand that doesn't tare very well (like AT ALL, despite what the box says), only runs in lbs. and oz. rather than straight ounces, or has to be flipped over to push a button every time you want to run it in grams. I had plans to do 2 batches today, and one each between now and Wednesday. Now what?!
I got some beeswax and made a batch of lotion bars today. My question is, how do you cut a big block of beeswax? It took longer to cut the wax then to make the bars.
Im going to start making soap soon and have a question. Ive noticed with alot of homemade soaps, that it doesnt suds alot. Is there anything to add to it to make it lather up more?
Have any of you tried putting dried rose petals on top your CP soap? Wouldn't they turn brown or black? Is there a way to do it that they won't change colors?

It depends entirely on which oils you use in your recipe. They range from really sudsy to none at all- from big bubbles, to low creamy ones. The SoapCalc website is great for creating a recipe that will have the characteristics you're looking for.
