Regarding the some of the questions you guys have about the Yellowdock . . .

My infusion was only 24 hours, then it was strained and added to my recipe at a smaller percentage than Morgaine's. So, the smaller percentage wasn't the only factor in the difference in the color of our soaps since Morgaine infused hers for closer to a week. I was hoping for closer to that dark burgundy color for my swirl, so I'll post pix when I try it again using her methods.

Depending on what color you want and how much you have, I would use anywhere from 50-100% infused olive oil in a batch. Mine was strong, I heat infused it and then let it sit for a while, 2 -3 weeks at least it sat till I was ready to soap it. I'll get a picture later of the infused oil I have right now, like I said it's very dark. I used it again, this time as 10% of my total oils and I didn't gel this one. I was just wondering so I popped it in the freezer. It's pretty, but not the same color as my first batch.

I'm so nervous, I start the ren fest this weekend.

Morgaine, I ordered the perfume base from TNS instead of the coconut. But it is supposed to be here tomorrow and I don't think it will be. It left Fort Worth at 9 something this morning and is supposed to make it to NW Indiana

I really don't understand why fedex insists on teasing you by saying it will be there in such and such amount of time and then the day that it should be there it gets pushed back another day or two.

Dove is in leauge with fed ex to keep all of our supplies held up and drive us mad. Then there will be no handmade soap to sell to people.

I actually went a head and set up a ups account so that I can avoid fex ex as much as possible.
