Soap Makers Help!

I made my first attempt at making soap.

that they look good tomorrow when I take them out of the molds. AND YES I RAN IT THROUGH THE LYE CALCULATOR FIRST.

Friends and family?? Piece of cake! They already know and love you. Just enjoy yourself!

Absolutely ask the other vendors if they want to participate! Maybe have a couple of extra baskets available for them to use to pick their things in. All they can do is say, "No". If you don't ask, they may feel left out!

Our 4 yo Berkshire brood sow went to freezer camp this week. She was almost 600 lb hanging weight! A lot of fat on her, but that's okay by me! I'm rendering up organic lard today. Already have two 5 gallon buckets and should easily fill another and probably half of the fourth bucket.

I did a bit better at this open house event. I sold $250. worth. Not bad for a small event!

Oh my! I must make soap... or I won't have any to give for the holidays myself! It's like someone flipped a switch. Yikes I have several scents that are almost gone. Gift basket orders are rolling in this week. I may have to take a day off from work to catch up.

Glad you are doing so well Rocky!!! Funny that you have to take off work to make soap, but it's way more fun!
