Soap Makers Help!

They are a sophmoric bunch. I go back every couple of years just to see if anything has changed ... it never does.

Back to soapmaking ... I am sooo behind in my inventory! Planned on marathon soaping day yesterday. Made about 25 lb of soap (3 different scents) and realized I was out of lye! ARGH! I was certain I had another 10 lb box ... put in an order to Boyer. It should be here tomorrow or Thursday.

Citrus Basil (light green with orange swirls)

Lemongrass & Sage (yellow with green swirls)

EucaMint (two-tone green swirls)

Most of the time now-a-days, I'm immersed in the fiber arts (spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, prepping, crocheting). Spring is coming though and I've gotten a good start on my seedlings.

Thank you! After 14 years of making soap, I have the swirls down!!

Question for all y'all

I need help selecting fruity scents. I'm a child of the 60's (sounds so much better than saying I'm 50-something!! LOL!) and just love my earthy & herbal scents. I did add citrus blends a number of years ago, but it seems like I'm hearing more and more, "I like fruity scents."

I work primarily with essential oils but know I have to change to fragrance oils for the fruit. SO ... what are the big fruit scents?? Blackberry Sage appeals to me ... is it 'fruity' enough? Is Strawberry still a big fragrance? How about Peach? Are there others that are big sellers for you?

I'd like to combine them with something earthy or herbal (or citrus or minty) but nothing is sounding good.

Help, Please!! (and Thank you!)

Soaps from today

Lily of the Woods (Lavender & Patchouli with a touch of lily of the valley) blue/green swirl I still love to see my soaps a gelling!

Cotton Blossom (TD & silver mica swirl)

New scent ... Rosemary, sweet orange & tea tree no colorant added

OMH (unscented) The oats have been toasted, fresh honey from the farm and (as always) organic Jersey milk

Mother Earth (gel, baby, gel!!)

Insulated stack o' soap

Right? Right now, I have to get candles and soaps done, build a new 3 section cage, clean the coop again, bury some bones (not sure what else to do with them, LOL), clean the old brooder, get some plants in and order my trees. We're starting from scratch with the garden since we just moved, so that'll be a real treat to try to get done in such a short time. How often can you soap? I only have salt bar molds and one set of regular molds, so I can really only soap each kind every other day.
