Soap Makers Help!

I thought the same but after using the PVC pipe molds for the round bars...it was not an issue...you could just tape parchment paper around the PVC pipe mold rather than using the vaseline too. It sounds too fussy...though....maybe the ice cream scoop would work better. I think I'll use melt and pour glycerine soap for the red center layer...I'll make it this week and post it.

I like Sweet Cakes...3 parts watermelon fragrance is nice...although I'd add 1 part Cucumber fragrance oil to give it that really fresh grown undertone.

Well your welcome, even if all the good ideas were yours, lol! I wonder if you could use cucumbers in the rind part or the rinds from real watermelons( The juice might give a little bit of green). What will watermelon juice would do with the lye? Hmmm. Now I want some nice juicy watermelon!

The watermelon rind sounds like a great idea. I wonder if that would work. I'm having soaper's block at the moment as well. I did order blueberry cobbler scent and a couple other ones.

A fresh english cucumber ground up will lend a lightly green with green fleck rind - and if you use a melon/cucumber fragrance it would be nice.

I have ideas, I've just run out of supplies now. I'm going to have to go get some more lye and coconut oil.

I want to try the egg think again, this time without the grits and cornmeal. I also want to try a black and white swirl using charcole and clay and scented with lavender and tea tree. I definately want to try the cucumber recipe Ninja posted earlier in the thread. I also want to try a shampoo bar with beer as the liquid. And I'm sure there is more I just can't remember them, lol.

Whoops, pushed submit too fast. I was going to say my DH loves Tea Tree soap because he thinks it smells like saw dust.
