My guess is that you just had a trapped air bubble in there, which means that the rest of the batch is likely fine. To be sure it isn't too much lye, do the old tongue test and see if it zaps (like a 9V battery does when you lick it).

I'm just going to put of the soap until sometime tomorow. After I figure out if my kids has poisin ivy

I really hope he doesn't. We told all the boys where there was poisin ivy in the yard and told them to stay out of it. So I turn around from garening and there he is playing right next to it. He woke up this morning with his entire chest covered in little bity spots. Now he has them from his neck to his feet. And they just started to itch a few hours ago

Get a call in to the doctor tomorrow morning first thing. They can give you a short course of prednisone (powerful anti-inflammatory) which will help with the itch and shorten the course if it is truly poison ivy.

Warm baths and showers will make the itching worse. Use as cool of water as possible and get him in and out quickly.
