Soap Makers Help!

kinda like sewage. I never looked before, but I guess you're supposed to keep it in the fridge after you open it, opps! I've had that bottle since before Christmas, so it lasts for a really long time.

My cm is a slight yellow base with green flecks in it. How much cucumber puree did you use? I was hoping once it gelled it would be greener but it's not. I used 200 +/- grams for 4 lbs oils

Did you add it at trace? Or did you mix it with the lye? I added mine at trace.

Hello Fellow Soapers...I haven't posted in awhile...been so busy! But my dear friend is teaching me felting and we felted our first bars of soap. I LOVE it...going to put some on the website for the fall season.

Question: Cucumber puree....you add it at trace? I've never used it before...I think I'm going to add some to a Cucumber Melon scent I have.

Does felting make the soap last longer?

She also did a STARRY night one...it was so awesome. I'm testing them in the shower NOW and it is amazing. WE did not felt the merino wool...just used the needle and pushed it into the soap and letting the shower do the rest. I did one that was marbled...it came out very pretty too...I'll have to post more photos. SHE felts and makes felted FLOWERS....they look like real dogwood flowers, hyacinth, violets...you name it...she is amazing! I'm taking a felting clinic next weekend...I'll post photos. I'm shooting for a RUG next!!

I haven't tried felting yet, though I've wanted to try after seeing all the neat ones CW posted. How much does it exfoliate? I'm not too big on super scrubby soaps.
