Soap Makers Help!

mikenandrea, be careful of CHEAP EO/FO. You'll usually end up using more making it more expensive than if you use a quality EO/FO. Southern Garden Scents used to be in GA when it was "Tony's". Not sure if it is still based there

cheaptrick, I agree with your comments on EO. That is why I love using Butch Owen's EOs

Each batch of EO is tested and has to fit in the EO 'footprint' otherwise Butch will not accept it.

MLF how did you say to put petals on top of CP soap with out them turning brown. I know you said to use MP but I don't remember the order.

Right before you unmold your soap, pour a thin layer of clear M&P on top, sprinkle on petals.

The M&P is there only to secure the petals and to keep it from touching theh CP

Yep! It works great! I used your directions and did just that and now have lovely petal topped soap. Wrapping them might be interesting.

Morgaine and Chickenwhisperer both indicated they have ordered from Southern Gardens in their recommendation to you on places to order your EOS.
