I get quite a few of my fragrances from SGS. So far the only ones I haven't liked have been apple jack peel(hubby likes it alot though) and Sandalwood rose. The Sandalwood Ylang is awesome, I love it and use it as my personal perfume(diluted of course). Witch's Brew is nice but a little pricey. Let's see, what else, Dragon's Blood, a good seller, Burberry for men is really nice. The only thing is he only sells fragrance oils. if you are looking for essential oils, I would try The Scent Works, tehy are really close to you(north carolina) or camden grey in florida. Try this site to find places near you.

yeah, you should never cure on metal. I have some of my older bars, Almost a year and half old, and the ones that were put any where next to metal got DOS, but bars from the same batch, stored in the bathroom cabinet in a paper bag are fine. If it's for personal use, I would just get a knife and cut the brown parts off and just use those bars up first.

I have metal racks, but I lay parchment paper down so the soap never touches it.

Thanks for warning me. I literally ran down and removed the rest of my soap from the foil.

Not only should you not put them on aluminum foil....never make soap in an aluminum pan....it will actually melt it.

Ok...so I go into a CERTIFIED health food store...the CERTIFIED herbalist tells me she has NO idea what Yellow dock is and has never heard of it...but it sounds neat!?

Can I ask if any of you know of online resources for yellow dock?

Brandy, I totally forgot I got a pound of it from SFherbs! I was bagging soap last night and found it! Theirs is in smaller pieces than what I got from the health food store, but it still looks the same. I know you can also get it from Texas natural supply and Mountain Rose Herbs. Both of those are in the reference thread.

Man I am so nervous! I do the ren fest tomorrow. If I sell everything I made(sell it over 3 weekends) I'm going to have made $5,000 with a profit of $3,700! Fingers crossed!​
