Soap Makers Help!

Thanks everyone!

I have it in the freezer now, when I get home I will be running it under hot water. This is the second time I used it but the first time I sprayed the inside with PAM spray & it came right out. I bet I don't forget again!

It is hard to tell sometimes for me (Newbie) but it seems that people use everything from mineral oil, vasoline, cooking spray ect. I had cooking spray on hand & it worked, if only I would of done it this time also. Another person suggested using the thin plastic cutting boards & another yet used wax paper. I'm sure I would make a mess out of either of those.

Whoooo HOooooo after an all night freeze and 10 minutes sitting on the table it slid right out!!!! Now I have to let it set while it thaws so I can cut it!!!!

My first scented batch, honey almond that seized but turned out okay after alot of trimming. In the back is the chocolate peppermint out of this batch.

Nice! Love how white you got some of your bars. Big bars too. It feels so good to turn just simple oil and lye into something beautiful like soap!

Please oh please share pictures!!!! Coming into this thread so late I missed alot of pictures!

I will post some out of the PVC later after my 4H meeting. I think it is wonderful to have my own soap that I KNOW what is in it.

I didn't have a plan when I cut my un-scented bars so they aren't uniform but thats okay for me & my family anyways. I plan to grate the really odd one's into laundry soap soon.

Cybercat thanks again for the message board threads, I have really enjoyed them & have found lots of new idea's.
