Soap Makers Help!

I have mine with the soapmakers guild. It's not cheap, but I have been required to have by some shows and 1 wholesale account. And it was also used when I organized my own craft show.

If you make less than 5K you can use RLI they are much cheaper but have the cap. I did make more than 5K my first year.

If you are planning to do shows or have a website, I would really recommend checking out propay to take credit cards. I soooo wish I would have signed with them right away.

I was looking at the soapmakers guild website when I saw info on liability insurance. It hadn't even crossed my mind until then. It is expensive! I think I'll check with my agent to see what they offer.

I'll check out Propay. I was planning on using Paypal. I didn't realize there were other options. Thanks for the info:)

I found that propay was much cheaper than paypal. I got my knuckle buster from Mr. Inprinter on Ebay.

Check out RLI they are a lot cheaper. My regular insurance agent did not have the kind of coverage I needed for shows or personal liabliity. They only covered if your product was damaged.

My house was full of salmon fishermen all weekend. At 3pm today I got the house to myself again and made a batch of soap:) Frankincense and Myrrh. Yesterday I spent 5 hours labeling and packaging gift basket orders.

This was the first bar I cut from the "Lake Effect Snow" batch.....does anyone else see Old man winter sleeping?

Gingerbread confetti...is curing much darker than this.

Check out these soap drying racks I got for FREEEEEEEE

Labeling is my least favorite thing about selling my soaps.

The baskets look beautiful! Yes, I see old man winter.

Great drying racks! I need more but don't have anyplace to put them!

Labeling is my least favorite part too. That and cleanup, lol.

Gift baskets look great! And so does the soap!

Who has done the loofah in pvc before? I need advice

My loofah seems too big for the pvc....if I wet it and cram it in will that work?
What soap works well for this? I have something in mind, but have never heard of it. I'll google it....I'm excited:)

Has anyone done a tomato soap? Is it drying? If I put it in a scrubby bar would it be too drying on the hands?
