Yes, HP benefits from having a cure also. It is will loose water and get harder just like CP. I do find that HP soaps have a better lather right away than normal uncured CP.
My ungelled soap takes 4-5 days to not zap any more.

I use .25-.3oz of anise ppo and it is pretty strong bt does mellow with curing.

Me? Yes I used the eo. Love it blended with may chang and lavender! Not so much by it's self.

It's still cheaper for me to get OO at Sam's, but I would try Columbus Foods. Or see if there are any local resturant supply warehouses around you so you don't have to pay shipping.

Have any of you experienced soapers ever made soap in the blender. While surfing the net for info on soap making I ran across a method using the blender. Can any of you give me the pros & cons of making it that way?

I use a stick blender but I have never use a regular blender. Don't know how much control you would have over trace in a blender. And it would be hard to scrape all the soap out too. But I'm sure that somewhere someone has made soap in one.
