Hello everyone, from sunny San Diego. I'm new to this chicken raising and I'm getting hooked more and more everyday...lol I'm very impatiently waiting for my first egg, it seems like it's never going to happen. Anyone else having this feeling? They are showing all the signs that they are laying, but no eggs. And yes I even went to the extreme of looking at all their vents and feet, so now what! Anyone have any insight.

When I was in the same situation I just had to keep reminding myself that "Patience was a virtue" and " A watched pot never boils". It was only when I finally resolved myself to the fact that they would eventually lay when they were ready, that they finally started to lay. All I can say is... give it time.
