Socializing Chicks

HI there im new too and i had the same problem you did with my chicks when they were two weeks old. i figured that would be a good age to get them used to me. i just let my nieces who are old enough not to hurt the chickens sit with them and pick them up alot so that they got used to people. they still run away sometimes but food is def their motivator . i bring out a piece of lettuce and they are on it.
