Hello, I have a 2 year old brahma bantam who may have a soft shell egg stuck. She has been acting lethargic for about 12 hours. She started off passing clear/white droppings, and now is passing what looks like egg white. She laid a soft shell 3 days ago and has had issues with them before but they never came out broken. What can I do to help her?

How did she turn out, and what is vacuum; like flush her out? Thank you for responding
I was actually able to manually remove a lot of egg and soft shell earlier today. She is still pretty lethargic but seemed to want to roost with the flock so I let her stay outside. I really hope she's OK in the morning

I would use some human calcium with vitamin D—calcium citrate is good or whatever you may have at the moment. One tablet daily orally a few days or for a week. Even Tums. Antibiotics may help to prevent infection. Enrofloxacin 10% liquid is good, or you can use amoxicillin (Aqua Mox online.)
Thank you, I did do a crushed calcium + d3 mixed in yogurt earlier. That was before I was able to expell the egg yolk. I have some enrofloxacin actually but it's about 18 months old! Should I still use it?

Not sure if you saw my last post, Iwas actually able to manually remove a lot of egg and soft shell earlier today. She is still pretty lethargic but seemed to want to roost with the flock so I let her stay outside. I really hope she's OK in the morning
