So sorry...I know this question has been asked but I have a herniated disc and can not sit here and search for the answer so I hope you will forgive me and tell me what it means when your hen lays a shell-less egg. This in only her 3rd egg. They are still very small but todays has no shell...only the membrane. THanks!

Usually takes them about a month to get their egg laying machinery up and running smoothly. You may see different odd eggs and odd behaviors for a while.
