Soft egg?

Mine just started laying within the past 3 weeks and I've gotten a few soft shell eggs, too.

Mine free range and get layer crumbles (with the extra calcium) and they also have oyster shell available to them that they nibble on whenever they feel the need.

So I'm not worried about their calcium intake.

I just figured a soft shell egg was within the realm of "normal" in the beginning.

I have heard that too, as well as it being caused by the heat.. I'm not worried anymore! Here is her egg she just laid.. The one on the left is from the store, the one on the right is Faiths! Yaay!
