was not there this am now the size of a baseball when i touch it it feels fluid filled she seens to be alert and active what do i do new to raising chickens

Sounds like her crop. If it's empty in the morning, it's emptying normally. Of course you won't be able to tell that if she gets up before you and has access to food in the pen. If you're worried you can separate her overnight with no food to be sure, and check the lump in the morning.
