I’ll preface this with I’m new to chickens. I have 7 chicks from April. Now pullets. 4 Cuckoo Marans and 3 GLW. I believe all are laying. Though one Wyandotte seems to be laying all soft shelled. And perhaps two in one day. Has anyone heard of that.

What are you feeding them?
Do they have access to oyster shells ?
and with new layers soft shelled eggs are common

They are on 16% layer feed and have free access to oyster shell and grit. I also bake a few egg shells ever other day or so and crush and feed back.

thanks everyone for being willing to teach
