Eggs without shells generally has nothing to do with calcium intake. Generally eggs are pushed out before they are fully formed. Usually from stress.
Thin shells can be from things like panting or a slight respiratory problem. Shells can get more brittle as hens continue to lay. Using things like ACV can cause brittle shells as well, especially in warmer weather.It had a shell just very delicate
It may have been from stress although she at the top of the pecking order with one other hen, a rooster and 4 poulets
