Sold as a Blue Andalusian, but looks like a Barred Rock - what breed is this?

Hi - I bought this chick yesterday - sold as a 7 day old Blue Andalusian. It looks just like my Barred Rock chick that I raised last spring. Thoughts? Thank you!

Chickens at this age can look a lot alike haha! Do not be shocked in a couple weeks he/she will start looking alot different. Could be a Blue Andalusian, looks like it to me. If I were you, I would type into google images "Blue Andalusian chicks" and you can see if it is!

Thanks! Yep, I already Googled images and that made me more suspect that it wasn't a BA. The barring seems more distinct on mine than any pics of BAs that I found. But, maybe there's still hope!

Chicks do change a lot as they grow... But your chick is definitely barred. It's definitely not a blue Andalusian. I'm sorry that it's not what you wanted but hopefully you'll still get lots of eggs.
