Sold as a hen but......I’m suspicious

So this is Elsa. We recently had to go to the local poultry swap because I had a roo I needed to trade in it’s him already) we can’t have roosters in my neighborhood.. anyways I bought this olive egger. Sworn as a hen. She is MEAN!!! She’s already bit me pretty bad. Not to mention my other 3 hens corner her and attack her. She’s in her own kennel in the run with the other to get acquainted. Not sure if it’s gonna work out BUT I’m thinking I may have been had and this may be a roo. What do you think??

Not only Roos can be mean. We had a RIR hen that took complete charge of the pen, she bit me a lot, and she even disfigured another hens comb so that it was hanging almost all the way off her head. It is common to have a mean rooster, but the ladies can be quite cruel also

Ps just had a convo on this in another thread but all hens should have round edged saddle feathers you can look up a comparison online they're quite easy to spot once you know what you're looking for

I believe theirs a Post somewhere that talks about how to teach hens a roos to submit to you in proper chicken form and prevent human chicken confrontation

Ps did you check spur growth? Not overley indicating at that size but may be a hint there too
