Hi ALL...

I dont know if I mentioned this to anyone, but, we were on TOTAL communication lockdown mid Dec, till a few days ago....

The only thing we could get on, was .mil sites.... no yahoo mail, no BYC, no nothing....

Anyway,.. friends of mine at the terminal got me on a C-17 cargo flight on 22 Dec, so, I made it in time to pick up the kids from the Frankfurt Airport on 24 Dec... (Cpt Fowl got a few photos with the load masters!).

The kids and I spent a week or so together, and had an absolute blast. We even got to spend a few days in AMsterdam together.. Cpt Fowl spent lots of time touring with us... (Cpt Fowl is a BYC mascot!

We went to Trier, Heidleburg, Mannheim, Landsthul and other cities, that I can't spell ....lol...

I so needed to be away from here....

Now, I am on a 10 week countdown... to go back stateside.

I am thinking I will be home, end of March or so.

Gonna try and look for a job when I get home, and now, my 18 year old dau, transferred from FSU to go to school in Jax, will live home with me for a year or two - so I get to play mommy again!

Troy's was totally backed up with boxes when I got back... but, I did see a few BYC boxes, and thought of you guys when I saw a couple boxes of organic pop tarts!!

Pam, Im glad Drew got his boxes...and that his whole platoon was able to enjoy when we sent. If he needs anything else, have him email me. I have playing cards, boxed games, crossword/sudoku books and candy galore!

Darlene, have you gotten your SS package yet?? I had to send what we had here...and I did make those myself..lol..

HI!!!

Glad you had a such a good time with your kids...but missed you too...What happens to Troy's place after you leave... you will have to introduce us to your replacement...

Drew has started patrols and has a nice brand new truck to drive around in...better than the Hummer...I have been able to talk to him about once a week... His platoon really enjoyed the Christmas suprise...I am gathering stuff for Valentine's now...

Thats why my grands love me..Im always looking out for them..lol...

We are in a huge transition mode here... and so, things have really slowed down. I have been on the search for a coordinator for Troy's...but, so far no luck!

Sure hope you have luck finding a new coordinator for Troy's Place We will continue to send packages when we can from the collection boxes at the Courthouse.

and I am sure others here will continue also. Maybe we will gain a new BYC member with the New Coordinator.

I hope things are moving along well there with you and your fellow resident troops

Hi all.....

Im sorry I haven't posted here lately...
Its just Im on the down side, and I am ready to go....

It's been chaotic since being back... and now, with transition, I have lost so many of my volunteers, and its been tough.

I have been trying to get things sorted out, and trying to close open items... as well as do my job, and plan for packing, and shipping my things home. This has been hindered by rainy days, where all vehicle traffic is pretty much stopped...

I am sad to go, but..also relieved....
