The best picture I can get. This week-old has highly developed wing feathers so we're assuming (and hoping) its a girl. The guy who gave us fertile eggs didn't have a clue. "What Breed And Gender Is This?" Thank you in advance! Preston
 
I think barred rock - and usually the dark babies, with a more round white spot mean pullet but hopefully someone with more experience with barred rocks can chime in - I just have one and she's only 12 weeks old!
 
That is definitely not a barred rock. That is a silver laced Wyandotte. Good news! Its a hen!

The hen looks like a hatchery-quaility Silver Laced Wyandotte and the chick is probably a Barred Plymouth Rock or a black sex link cockerel. If it is a pure Barred Plymouth Rock, the pullets should have a dark wash over the fronts of their legs and a round head spot although this isn't always reliable.
