Still doing well! Just a few more days until the quail chick has some actual quail friends.

My first hatch was also disastrous. I had three hatch and two die. My survivor was fine alone and just reache about 3 weeks old. I put it in a cage with a single hen that was getting picked on and they are doing great together.

Thank you! I'm so glad it worked out, I was worried after it was miserable by itself and then the bantams picked on it.

Finally found some quail friends!!! My original quail is the one snuggled up to the monkey! They're a little smaller, but seem to be getting along so far.

One slightly larger baby with multiple smaller ones should be just fine as long as it doesn't turn out to be a bully.

Seems to be going well so far! I haven't seen any bullying, they were all kind of spread out in their own space. The one I hatched is still in ear shot of the two Silver Ameraucana chicks, they kept calling back and forth to each other. It was pitiful! They all seem to have settled in now.
