Solve This Mystery: 8 Hens = 14 Eggs in < 12 hrs

BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Nice!!
I wasn't brave enough to break open the giant weird egg. I gave it to a friend who wanted it and recommended she "boil it for well over 5 minutes and have a big, sharp knife handy when you crack it open".
Here's a pic of the weird one. It weighed 3.2 oz. no way it came out of my hens. Its way bigger than any double yolker they've laid and its UGLY - the top is all bumps and dimples, it has ridges, wrinkles and you can't rly see, but it looks like it has veins running through it.

That is quite odd. I wouldn't be eating that one.

My pullets that are laying (4 of them) lay a double sized egg every couple of weeks. They've all been double yolkers, but otherwise perfectly normal.

Yrs ago I had a few brown leghorns only leghorns I've ever had. They as pullets laid many over 100 gram double yolkers, duck size eggs. I was worried they were going to blow themselves out. Was told it takes some time for a pullet to get their egg factory working right. They were right after a few months the birds started laying normal big eggs.
