Solving a Hawk Problem

i was not going to post anymore on here either, but guess what? i lost a hen to a hawk yesterday. but i am not going to shoot it. the end.

I worked with a DNR employee a few years ago. There was a hawk bothering his chickens, so his wife got the shotgun out. She had to leave, so handed the gun to the painter there and told him to shoot it if it returned. It did and he did.

While permits may be issued locally for raptor control in specific cases, the general Federal laws are that all migratory fowl and raptors and songbirds are protected.
