Some advice, please

Many people on this site are for ACV and some aren't. I read a thread about it here that must have been 100 pages long sharing and debating the subject. It can't hurt and if you are using plastic waterers should help it not get slimy so quick. Win!

I would suspect the raggedy look is from feathering if you aren't seeing them pick on her, just from what I've seen with my flock. If she has cocci, I hope the Corrid clears that up!

As for the dust bath, I'm not sure about the DE in the dust bath bin or if you needed the poultry dust or not. You probably would have been fine with plain old dirt. My chicks did their first dust bath at 4 or 5 weeks old. It started with one and the others picked up on it over the course of a week or two. I'm my chicks "mother hen" and I certainly did get down there to roll around and show them how to do it. Lol! They will figure it out when they need it I'm sure.
