Hey, the temperature is so hot it’s 41C in here and it will keep going to 46C and more! I want to protect my chickens from heat stroke, so what’s the best suggestions to do for them to make them cool down?

Shade is the big one, but check it several times a day as the shade moves. Often times the late afternoon is the hottest part of the day, so be sure and check the shade at 4:00 pm.
Thanks

Shade during the day, my coop only gets morning sun in the summer.
My pen is 500 square feet and has a large tree in the middle.
It was 35c for the past 7 days with heat indices of 40c.
I provide cold water during the day in two places, and a shallow pan that they can step in. 20170614_164717.jpg .I also run a fan in the coop when temps stay above 18c. 20170619_090443.jpg . I have recently started to give them a daily treat of wet feed made with cold water from the refrigerator. 20180705_135526.jpg . I make it very wet about 1.25 centimeters above feed after I stir it. 180 milliliter of dry feed for 3 hens.
In hot temperatures my girls eat very little feed. Egg production can slow. This way they are cooling off and eating more of the nutritious feed. 20180705_193946.jpg . As you can see they like it. It takes them a couple of hours to finish it.
I did all measurements in metric, temps and weights is easy. Others are hard. I do have a measuring cup with ml on one side, YES. GC
