hello everyone.
am thinking one day i might want to get into quail (for eating eggs) and my province only allows bob white quail with no permits needed.
so a few questions
1. can they be raised in cages? like Japanese quail or do they need flight pens and all that?
2. how many eggs per year do they lay?
3. could i house them in the same coop with ducks or chickens? (the idea is to keep them in a pen above the other birds either chickens or ducks and just have the poop land on a pan below so it should never come in contact with each other.)
