Of all my ducks, she and Ciscoe are so heavy, they have never really tried to fly. However, after watching my two Khaki hens fly out of the duck house when I put them in (roof opens for access), Peeps promptly flew right out too! The enclosed has a 4 ft fence, so didn't think she would get over it. Have seen her go under fences when she is intent on foraging without seemingly realizing she did it. Now not so sure. They are all flying 'too much' these days - don't want to go in the duck house at night. Can't say I blame them, but the coyotes are out there. Going to have to keep them in the small enclosed pen with the roof I guess. ;0(
