Some how....

Some how I left one of our local tsc stores without these 6 little fluffs....and my kids were begging me to add more ducks lol cause they know I really want more....ugh....even the girl at the counter "well they will be in the brooder for a bit longer so gives you time to add on to your run and coop....." lol not helpful did I mention they would have been a $1 each....I may have to drive back

I keep saying our 2 ducks need more ducks for friends they have 10 chickens but chickens just aren't the same....lol

Nope, not the same at all. I have chickens, ducks and geese and they all have their little flocks within the flock. Flock dynamics is really cool. They are one family but know who they are.

Yep fully agree, the dynamics are interesting to watch for sure! Are girls all live together and the ducks started going into the chicken coop on their own despite having their own house, but they still stick together more then then with the chickens. It was interesting to watch, when we first put them out in the coop/run the ducks would wait by the door in the morning till we let the chickens out, now we just leave the door open 24/7 and they all go in and out together.

Haha! Everyone is about 20 weeks now so no more little floofs running around. But they share an enclosed run and get about 30mins to an hour of surprised "free time" haha

The last pick is 'Pippy' our white layer she decided the septic area was a great little napping/nesting spot for a bit

Wow how beautiful The Ducks and Chickens and the place they live. That picture of Pippy is precious.

Thank you! We love our flock! The PNW can be a beautiful place live for sure if you don't mind wet, dark falls/winters lol
