OMG, they are the CUTEST! Ducks are probably one of my FAVE poultry friends! We have six ducks on our farm, and they are ADORABLE when they walk. there are two types of colors of ducks (brown and white) and the brown always walk in front of their line they make when walking, with the white in the back.
DEFINITLY go back for more ducks (I too see only five, how about upgrading to 10?! ) Love your flock, have a fabulous day.

Haha summers are very nice here! Because of the rain there's lots of green everywhere. Although we have had a hotter then normal summer early on so everything is dead now lol my grass blows away in the wind haha.

We have dark fall and winters but it's because we're on the north side of a mountain. From mid-November to the end of Feb we only get about an hr of sun a day and it's so far away it doesn't do anything but give us a dab of sunshine.

I am right there with you. I always looking to add more personality into my flock. Only downside of getting them from TSC is they are going to be mostly drakes. Whatever hatchery they order them from, they are getting the random ducks they have left over. So mostly drakes, since most people order females. Unless you are ok with a drake flock.

Drakes or not, those little fluff balls are so hard to resist .

@Miss Lydia gosh only an hour of sun, that would be hard! I actually strongly dislike the weather here in WA, I crave sun and warm weather.

@Quatie huh I didn't know that about tsc ducks, I suppose that would make sense. Do they vent sex them then? We must have gotten really lucky, our 2 ended being ducks then! We got our flock from tsc in March.

Alas...i resisted going back, and now I start my work rotation so by the time I'm back to my days off hopefully those little floofs would have all found homes
