wow, that 'creamsicle' colored hatching snake is really beautiful!
i wish snakes were vegetarians because i love them but i can't handle feeding time. i've tried! it just makes me too sad.
(i know, it's the circle of life, i don't have an ethical problem with it, snakes gotta eat too, but i just love the little mousies too much and it makes me cry to stun them before giving them to the snakies!)

Frozen/Thawed always work well! That's what I use.

hey oegbman!
yah, we tried it with our ball python but he wouldn't eat the frozen ones. we tried to do different things like dangling the dead mousie from a string to make it seem alive but that was one smart snake and he wasn't having it!

so we rehomed him with some friends who could handle the mousie thing.
but i do love those pretty snakes!
