We built our house out of an old slide in truck bed camper. We recently busted open the bottom of the upper bunk ( the part that would be over the cab of a truck) and added on to the house as we 'acquired' some more kids. It is no where near beautiful as it is put together with many leftover materials from around the yard but they have more room, more nest boxes, and a real honest roost. They seem to be loving it!!!

Im pretty proud of my first coop....my flock is 8 months old. We are making the barnyard into Tombstone (my side business is called Tombstone Eggery & Aprons) All my animals have old west names too. So fun for us. The garage is now the Cochise County sheriffs office, the well house is the saloon and the coop is the Tombstone Mercantile. The coop about to be built will be a church.
