Did you say you were in Quemado? I'm over in the south central mountains near Alto, NM!! Gorgeous territory over your way!! I have a friend over here that has some land outside of Quemado and is planning on retiring soon to it. We've driven through your area a few times over the years either from 60 west or from Silver City north. I love that side of the state. :) Love your duck pond! :D

before we bought this place we almost bought a place in Wyoming it's really pretty their it had a really nice creek on it . So we eventually realized we were looking beyond our means and might have lost it if we had bought it.

Any land around here with water on it is very pricey. You probably made a good decision!

DH and I have actually talked about ending up in AZ (northern part) because it's almost impossible to afford anything here with trees and/or water.

Same here, water and trees are a rare comodity, drives prices up! :lol: One tree is deemed a forest anymore. :lau
