Hey, can I be a friend too? Even though I live in the land of trees and water i.e. the swamp? I am actually in New Orleans. but think your area of the country is beautiful as I think mine is. I love how different our nation is. Lots of beauty to see and learn about.

Of course, we're all friends around here. And I agree, it's interesting to see how all the areas of the country are different!

Got to take DD on a 3 week vacation about 3 summers ago across the south west. Visited a lot of national parks along the way. Was truly a wonderful trip. First time DD saw that part of the country and something besides all green and swampy. Hope to be able to do another part of the country soon.

There are SO many interesting places out west. Lots of diversity compared to parts in the east. Especially New Mexico. We've got it all from low desert, grasslands, high plains to the 14,000 foot peaks of the southern Rockies! :)
