I think you've made a good point. People are not necessarily stupid, they are just ignorant. There is a difference.

Ignorance indeed. Some folks just can't comprehend where it is that meat/eggs/veggies come from. Reminds me of the lady years ago that wrote in to the paper telling hunters that they should all be ashamed and should start buy their meat from the store where it's made and no animals are harmed. I mean really......
