some people shouldnt be dog owners

Petie is about 6 years old HUGE yellow lab. we have seen him a few times along side the road in the morning after he left our house our is going to it. hes pretty smart when it comes to roads. he walks on the side and when a car comes he runs into the ditch. and before he crosses it he literally stands there and looks both ways. he is very very inteligent. if we have time we will pull over and bring him to our house but i guess it doesnt really worry me about cars. its hunting cause we live in country with alot of forest, and someone taking him to the kill shelter. when he comes back i plan on asking jan. owner of cocker spaniel rescue if she will take him but shes in dept so shes really trying not to take on anymore dogs, until its paid off. the thing is he isnt nuetered and i swear has never been on a leash or in the house but im working on obedince with him when ever hes over, so he needs work to be indoor dog. but i love him and would/could drop him off at a kill shelter knowing what would probley happen to him. we made him insulated dog house in the winter right next to our huskeys (his girlfriend

) so if he wants to he can stay but he usuallys only over for a couple hrs

Wish I lived near you, I'd take him in a heartbeat...he is just the dog I'm looking for to be with my lonely lab, Jake. He lost his mate last winter to old age and pain and he hasn't been the same since.

I love, love, love Labs and all my rescued, throw away dogs have been Labs, with the best one of all being a yellow Lab!

Sounds like you tend to the dog enough already to consider it yours.I would keep him.

he came back today. but he has a collor on this time and a tick collor. so i guess its back to normal now that we know his owner just didnt decided to get rid of him. we did have to send him away from our house today cause he literally ATTACKED our dog. he grabbed her leg and started shaking her, she was screaming. shes all right it just scared her alittle. but we did have to yell at him and send him on his way, but he most likely will be back tomarrow. he has never did this before i dont know wat went through his mind, he deals with my cocker who barks and growls at him all day and all she was doing was standing there. i heard my parents talking about it and we might keep him.
