The same swap had the prettiest trio of buffed polish I ever have got to see. I had to keep my eyes&thoughts on SLP and get in&out!

I want some buffed lace! I told the hubby the other day to expect a couple new chicks here soon, once I fix up the coop. Lol I have my SL, and my GL, now I want my BL!! Hahaha

My 4 buffed laced polish are some of my best layers and foragers. They are extremely winter hardy. No heat provided in Wisconsin. They are a bit calmer their second season, we also trim their crests, otherwise the roosters are always grabbing them, now they can see them coming and run.

Hello again, wanted to ask the polish chicken folks a question....
Do you ever notice if the younger chicks wind up being hens or roo's depending on how wide their too hat is? Some of my chicks seem to have a bigger,rounder puff then some seem to have a smaller patch that stands higher.??
