Hello! I've had chickens for quite a while, however we just got two baby pekin ducks. We got them at 2 days old and now they are going to be 5 weeks old on Saturday! I live in Florida, and I was wondering when they are able to go out side? And any suggestions on how to get them used to us. Everytime I go to feed them they spaz out and run around their little brooder! We got them so young so they could imprint, but it didn't happen! Any other suggestions would be helpful!! Thanks!!!

And then here they are at 4 weeks d swimming in out tub! I've been letting them take warm baths and drying them off and putting them back in the brooder with the heat lamp to warm back up. [IMG]

They can start living outside around 7 weeks, though you can take them out on field trips now, when it's warm.

They can spend the days out there now and if you wanted, night as well - though you might need to provide some heat for the nights until it warms a bit more.
